CDA to Enhance Security at Parks with Help of ICT Police

Islamabad: According to a news report, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) felt the need to collaborate with Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police to enhance the security at parks. The CDA also showed an intention to modernize parks by transforming them into state-of-the-art facilities.

Furthermore, our media sources mentioned that the public parks, thoroughfares, and market zones will be equipped with surveillance cameras under the proposed plan of the CDA. All the activities will be monitored through the Safe City Command and Control Center.

To enhance further security, the CDA suggested installing emergency buttons in poorly lit areas. It will add more to the safety measures. Moreover, the CPO (Chief Police Officer) in charge of Safe City and Traffic Management encouraged the addition of identity card records into the new security system for individuals visiting the parks. The chief further emphasized that by adopting technology and innovative strategies, the authorities can create a safer environment for both citizens and visitors.
