Under the leadership of Zainul Abidin Sahi, the committee will expand this system to include all industries by May 31, 2024, in the second phase. This action is in reaction to the government’s attempts to assist taxpayers, particularly those who missed the first deadline of September 30. They have planned to accommodate these tax filers by extending the date till October 31. This extension will provide taxpayers more time to meet their commitments and avoid fines or legal repercussions.
