PM Scrutinizes Illegal Property Listings of FGEHA

Islamabad: According to a news published on 19-09-2023, the Caretaker Prime Minister scrutinizes the illicit advertising properties list of the Federal
Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA)
. The list includes the property listing in the G-12 and F-12 sectors without NOC approval from the Executive Board.

As per official sources, the number of unapproved residential and commercial property listings has reached 7,450. The rising number of illicit properties has become a matter of concern among officials and prompted Caretaker Prime Minister, Mr. Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar. The sources indicate that Mr. PM, also serving as Housing Minister, scrutinized the situation himself.

As per official results, Mr. Kakar has asked for a detailed report from the Housing Secretary about the unapproved property listing. In addition, the
results of the Built-Up Properties (BuP) initial assessment reveal a total of 6,500 residential properties and 950 commercial properties in the G-12 and F-12 sectors.  The plot sizes range from 139 square yards to 500 square yards in these sectors.  Moreover, the rental prices in these sectors
vary from PKR 8,340,000 to PKR 30,000,000.
