As per the confirmed sources, the Chief Minister (CM) of the Caretaker Punjab Government, Mr. Mohsin Naqvi, performed the inauguration of the 900-meter-long “Zafar Ali Plastic Road.” The first-ever plastic road project stretches from Gymkhana Mall Road to Jail Road. As per sources, Mr. Naqvi also thoroughly scrutinized the development work and the material quality that went into this cutting-edge project.

Moreover, the CM was briefed thoroughly on its utility by the Secretary of Punjab Communication and Works and the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore (UET) professors. The Plastic Road project has many noteworthy features, including rainwater resistance, affordability, and up to 10 years of lifespan. In addition, the road was established using recycled plastic, reducing development costs and serving as a sustainable solution for the rising pollution crisis in Lahore.
